Day 6 Posting Directions

       Based on what you have learned in the past two days of class, you are to complete the following reflection. First describe what you believe is the overarching theme of the painting. Explain how specific details of the painting reveal or develop this theme. Your double entry journals would help with answering this!

      Next, discuss how your understanding of the bombing of Guernica changed from reading written sources versus a visual source. How did the mediums convey information differently? Was one more effective than the other? Why? Reflect on how your experience studying a written text was similar to and different from studying a visual text.

      Please compose a thoughtful post of at least 300 words. Then, respond to two classmates. You will have three days to complete this; I know it's a heftier piece of writing!
